Accusation

We, the family and friends of Free, denounce the lamentable administration of justice that keeps Free in jail, even though irrefutable testimony proves the falsehood of the acusations of the complainant Ferrat Mancera brothers.

We understand that between drinks and jealousy an argument arose, followed by some pushing and beating, leading to the fall of mr Ivan Ferrat Mancera, regrettably causing him to hurt his head while hitting a concrete step in a staircase. We can also comprehend that initially, because of his head injuries, the facts of the encounter might not have registered clearly in mr Ferrat Mancera's head. But after the appearance of the video which shows beyond doubt that it was not Free who attacked, but the complainant Ivan, we find the behaviour of Messrs.Ferrat Mancera incomprehensi-ble. We were waiting for a rectification on their part, in order to facilitate the legal proceedings towards Free's liberation.

After the short-lived kidnapping of Ana Fernandez-Villaplana, Free's mother, on December 9th, 2009, at midday and in the very centre of Cancun, we continue to ask justice from the Judicial Power of the State of Quintana Roo, justice and in particular effectiveness in the proceedings of the court case against Free, innocently detained. We will continue with our action of JUSTICE FOR FREE, NOW!!, which only strives to gain liberty for our family member and friend, unjustly imprisoned, and his complete exoneration.
